Hey Friends,

I have to start by saying thank you!

The encouragement and cheering-on via messages, call and comments have been so appreciated.  Campaigns aren't won alone, and having your support has meant much.   

 

Between keeping up with the events, social media and lots of research it's been VERY full on the campaign trail.  I've been occupied mostly with door knocking thouugh - and getting a great response from people. 

 

People really do want an INDEPENDENT VOICE on Township Council and I’m glad to be that!   

Here's where things stand: 
The next six weeks are the biggest, toughest and most intense of this whole race.

Signs go up September 26th, the social media ramps up, the print push kicks in,

and the debates are about to come fast and furious. 

I'm not the least bit deterred by any of that - in fact - I'm waiting for it!

As an independent, I need to cut through all the media noise of close to 25 other candidates with a clear message that resonates with our community - affordability, increasing taxes, debt, services and the list goes on.    

 

As an independent the biggest is one of showing up, asking the hard questions, weighing decisions carefully, debating the issues honestly.  Without that - what the Township gets will be a slate rubber stamping and moving on a single person's agenda - not listening, questioning the details, scrutinizing or debating their peers.

 

That's why the Township needs an independent voice on council. 

The two slates combined are set to spend over 500K.

I’ve been operating off of less than $5,000 and yet people are excited when I come to their door - "they've seen me on facebook!" or "...on the internet". 

     

To finish well though - That needs to RAMP UP to be really be seen and heard. 

In short, that takes financing - and of course this is where I could really use your help.

Two concrete things right now:

    Signs: I need to place the order in advance, which runs $5,000.
    Advertising: Social and print media will run about another $10k-$13K

So, If you’re in the position - I’d appreciate you financial support - today, this week, as time is really of the essence.   There are delivery times on printing and signage that are considerations.
