Every Wednesday morning I get to spend time with the most committed, compassionate, and inspiring people I know.
This week there were 57 of us gathered together (starting at 5:30am )- I know I know it’s unbelievable… Volunteers!
Kim and I have partnered together the last 12 years - with local businesses, social agencies, RCMP, government ministries, neighbours, and friends, all showing up for one purpose: to serve our community.
Families, seniors, newcomers, and individuals facing the everyday circumstances of life.
For most - it’s getting enough nutritious food, protein, or clothing, connection, and support. Whatever the need, we come together to do our best to help.
This isn’t a one time event. It’s 52 weeks a year.
The real heroes are our volunteers and donors.
Ordinary people facing the same affordability pressures, rising costs, and life challenges as everyone else; yet they keep showing up.
They keep giving.
They keep caring.
Langley is better because of you.❤️
